Photoshoot Update

Prestige models had a photoshoot last Saturday at Hermitage Plantation Inn. My girls and guy lol sell off, we had mad fun...pics to come soon.

What's Happening

It's been a while since i've been on here. I have been busy planning the official launch of Prestige Modeling Agency which we hope to have on February 21, 2009 with a fashion show. We have a few persons onboard already as designers, which is great...so now we are hoping to get as much sponsors as possible so our launch can be of high standard. More updates soon :)

Modeling and Photoshoots Updates

Sunday October 12, 2008 two of my models and myself will be doing a photoshoot for the first ever Nevis Pages 2009 Calendar. We are really looking forward to this shoot, it will take place at the Old Manor Hotel in Nevis. The outfits will be provided by some of our local stores, so hopefully all goes well on set and everyone shows up, sms.

This Saturday evening, October 11, 08 Prestige models will be making their second public appearance at the Gingerland Primary School (my past primary school) 30th anniversary Talent Show. Our will be making one appearance in skinny jeans and tops. This event should be fun, so locals come on out and watch Prestige models strut their stuff!

Would you sleep with a potential employer to make it big in the modeling industry?

There are some persons who will do anything to make a name for themselves in the modeling industry inlcuding sleeping their way up to the top. This is something I would NEVER do, and would discourage my models to ever doing something this low. What about you?

Models Day Out

Last weekend was MAD!!! I had fun with my models. This Friday is Nevis Independence so we have a long weekend ahead of us. I may also be doing another photoshoot this weekend, will let you guys know if it goes down.

St. Kitts Here I Come

Tomorrow evening I will be going to SK to handle my business, and have some fun as well :) I'm wishing all my blog viewers a great weekend!

Prestige Models Update

This Sunday one my models will be doing a photoshoot in St. Kitts with the wonderful photographer of VD Photography. I know it would be a great shoot, my model and I are really looking forward to it!

Prestige Updates

Last evening my training session went great with my models, we were modeling hats :) the girls and guy are really coming along nicely. I need about 2 more female models and i'm set for my first show in December.

Updates

Last Saturday I had a photoshoot at the Botanicals Garden, with VD Photography out of St. Kitts, it went very well. I will upload the pics as soon as I get them. I also had a training session with aspiring models, and they showed some improvement from the last session.

Prestige Modeling Agency Expectations from All Models

Besides needing the physical requirements to be a model you also need a personality for it. Professional modeling is a tough business. Only certain people can stand up to the hard work schedule and stress that modeling demands.

● Love the Show - When you hear, 'It's show time' do you come alive? If you love performing and being in front of an audience, whether it's a room full of people or the eye of the camera, you will enjoy modeling. If it is something you enjoy you are quicker to work hard at it, take greater risk, and work through the hardships that come along. If you love the work, you will love your life. If you hate the work, you'll be miserable.

● Hard Working - Modeling takes a lot of hard work and stamina. A photo shoot can sometimes last all day & night. And at the end of the day you still have to do all the stuff needed to keep you in shape and looking beautiful.

● Projection - You need to be able to development your personality, your charm, and your sex appeal. You need to be able to sell yourself to be able to sell the product.

● Extrovert - You will be meeting new people and walking into new situations. You will be performing before strangers. You need to like new experiences, challenges, and meeting new people. If you are shy and reserved you will forever be uncomfortable modeling.

● Good Self Esteem - Be a little bit of an egomaniac. Good self-esteem can help pick you up and get you through those tough times.

● Ambition - Careers in modeling won't come easy. You will have to go through trials and tribulations before you achieve success. The ambition and desire to succeed and achieve your goals in modeling will help you over the temporary set backs that come along.

● Self-Starter - As a model you are an independent businessperson in charge of your own career. You must be able to take charge of you. This includes your training, your physical upkeep, your professional practices, your finances, and your life.

● In Control - You need to be able to control your health (size and fitness), your body for posing, and your emotions for acting them out, and your life so you show up to sessions on time.

● Organized - You have to keep track of your schedule, your finances, your modeling materials, and your body's up keep.
